Students and faculty returning to campus in January got to enjoy an open house at the newly renovated Bulfinch Hall. The top-to-bottom renovation of the 193-year-old structure includes a restored cupola and weathervane, new window panes, new mechanical systems, repointed bricks, painted walls, restored light fixtures, refurbished floors and woodwork, and more. The facility also sports beautiful new classroom and conference tables, which were made from the pin oak trees cut down on the Bulfinch site. In each of the tables, the carpenters embedded a 2012 penny that curious students can try to find. Read more at
