Pueblo Pottery

Dominique Toya and her mom Maxine Toya, along with Nancy Youngblood and her son Sergio Lugo, visited campus this week sharing their knowledge of Pueblo pottery making. Students have been making and decorating small vessels with clay and slip from New Mexico. The pieces were then fired outdoors according to the traditional methods of Santa Clara and Jemez pueblos.
