Addison Gallery: 80 @ 80
80 @ 80 includes art that first graced the Addison’s walls when the gallery opened in 1931, reminding us of founder Thomas Cochran’s vision for the museum he gave to his alma mater. These treasured works hang with more recent acquisitions, while adjacent galleries highlight the collection’s strengths in portraits, interiors, landscape, and minimalism, all celebrating the rich history of the museum’s collecting over the past eight decades.
