Stephen J. Silk Exhibition
The creative work of Stephen J. Silk will be on view in the Gelb Gallery, George Washington Hall, Phillips Academy, from December 10, 2015 through February 5, 2016.
The Gelb Gallery is located in George Washington Hall at 5 Chapel Avenue, Andover, MA 01810. The gallery is open during school business hours and is handicapped accessible.
Born and raised between Lowell, Massachusetts and along the coast in Seabrook, New Hampshire, Stephen J. Silk’s connection to water emerges in his subject matter, creative process, and identity. This exhibit celebrates his diversity with the theme, including his sea- and landscapes, and gyotaku prints, of the traditional Japanese printing method that uses actual fish to make the print.
