A documentary crew led by accomplished director Lesley Chilcott, producer of "An Inconvenient Truth" and "Waiting for Superman", spent two days on campus filming members of Team WoCo, which has earned a finalist spot in the 2015 Technovation Challenge. This all-girl competition attracts teams from around the globe who compete to build a mobile app that has the potential to become a commercial product. The competition is meant to draw young female students into the field of technology and help them develop the entrepreneurial skills needed to be successful in business. This documentary, tentatively titled "#GirlsInTech," is set to be released in October. Team members are Qiqi Ren' 15, Sloane Sambuco '16, Jenny Huang '16 and Moe Sunami '17.
