Stephanie Gosk '90 at ASM
NBC News Correspondent Stephanie Gosk '90 returned to campus to speak at All-School Meeting on January 24, 2018. She discussed her career as a broadcast journalist, recent stories she's covered, and answered questions from students. Domestically, Gosk has recently covered the impact of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, TX, mass shootings in Las Vegas and San Bernadino, and sexual misconduct cases involving Dr. Larry Nassar and the U.S. Gymnastics team, and Matt Lauer at her own network. In her presentation, she emphasized the importance of objectivity, the ethics of journalism and how Andover prepared her for facing challenging moments. In addition to her speech, Gosk met with journalism students, sat for an interview of the Phillipian and participated in an episode of Andover's Every Quarter podcast.
